The Gingerbread House

Christmas Eve brings a warm calm evening. BBq's are in full swing as neighbours sit out in their gardens with friends and family sharing fine food and wine - the aroma has been divine! The cooking of beef steaks drifting over one fence and fish over the other fence, it certainly got my taste buds going!

We've got both daughters home with us now, they've been busy in the kitchen making homemade pizza's for tea - a combination of meatlovers, Hawaiian and seafood. Lovely to sit down with a glass of red and be waited upon after a busy day in the garden and also in the kitchen preparing for tomorrow.

Daughter E arrived home with this lovely Gingerbread house which a friend made, I just had to blip it.
