"Little Willie Wag-Tail"...

...He looks a bit hot right here...this little one pops in under our long verandah every day and flits from one end to the other, and has a bit of a chat with the ornamental bird amongst our hanging herb pot..although, sometimes it's a bit more than a chat - sort of like a jolly good bulling ending up with a jolly good pecking..and then he flies off until another time when he's run out of bugs to catch, and wants a one sided argument with the ornamental bird..

...The boys are watching cricket today, the Boxing Day match - UK & Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, there are a LOT of people there - 90,830 at the last count apparently..the boys tell me that "The Poms are batting for survival" they say..

...Previously, we thought we'd go shopping - but that was a BAD move - it was almost shoulder to shoulder walking through one of the big shopping centres here, and the line-ups at the checkouts definitely put us off..there was no hope of buying anything before dinner time we were sure..so many people and visitors to the area as well..but at least we got a good park..their parking areas are all shaded here, so it does help..

...We'll attempt to go shopping tomorrow..
