Window shopping on Oak Bay Avenue - December 25th
What a fabulous day!
I 'rose with the larks at 10am. Cat was laid out like a puddle across the kitchen mat, having over indulged in cat nip on Christmas Eve (organic) (proper pet shop stuff). I dragged her and the mat into the sitting room, to keep her out from under my feet.
Fred appeared, bothered Cat, and there she was back under my feet.
My sister sprung Mum from the home for the day. Mum dozed off while we were playing Scrabble. And she'd been playing so well til then! We took turns playing for her while she slumbered. She didn't do so well after that, but we did. She was a good sport about losing in the end.
Fred got his guitar out and strummed a few tunes. We weren't familiar with any of them and complained. So he launched into a Nirvana set and we knew loads of those words and sang along. I must say, I was most pleased how my recently hot-oil-conditioned hair swished about as we thrashed around the sitting room ... singing.
Dinner was served.
