Wednesday: A Peasful Christmas

Christmas was a quiet, but a very pleasant affair.  We all agreed to keep it small and within reasonable boundaries this year and that has worked very well.

K. cooked up a lovely Christmas dinner (lamb, as I am the only one who likes turkey).  But, more than anything, I was looking forward to a pea mountain!  I love peas and, quite frankly, Croatian peas are rubbish.  They take for ever to cook and are really clothy.  But Bird's Eye garden peas - you can't beat them!

And the day was rounded off by some excellent TV and dozing in front of the fire.
