The forecasters tell us that there is some weather ahead so, logs brought in and fire stoked up while we have the chance.

Dogs curled up outside enjoying the fresh air and wind.

Christmas detritus cleared away inside and belly full of the classic 'Saturday' breakfast.

Fresh pot of coffee on the fireside table.

Three very contended adults around the fire reading Christmas books.

And the boy coming to visit us this afternoon!

What could be better.

Thoughts go out to all of you who have suffered at the hands of the weather so far.

PS. I know it's only Friday but who cares. It's Christmas so days don't count.
