Stirling Moth Floors It!

There was an item on Breakfast news this morning, (before Keswick lost all contact with digital TV signals), about the way in which the long hot Summer this year has benefited wildlife. Apparently the butterfly and moth populations are due to explode, at least in terms of numbers anyway. As if to back the theory up, this lovely moth appeared on our kitchen floor just after we'd served breakfast. I reckon it must have been taking refuge from the storms outside. It's presently sitting on our kitchen window, as it has been for most of the day, probably looking outside and thinking it's better off where it is.
