And so..... to bed

A totally foul day of weather here. No desire for an outside venture and absolutely no desire for any kind of walk from my other half. However, Lucas came in the late morning for a sleepover. He normally comes twice a week after school but not quite so often for a full day and a sleepover. Number two son gave him a Lego coast guard set complete with helicopter, submersible, dinghy and coast guard boat for Christmas. The number of pieces was uncountable. His dad (number one son) suggested that it'd be a good idea if I built it with him We did that very contentedly for most of the day, watched a Tom a Jerry DVD (a recent discovery) twice and had chips and tomato sauce (a treat to him). We sailed everything in the bath, read a story and so.... to bed. One happy and tired six year old. A perfect day.
