Fuerzabruta

Fuerzabruta - bizarre mad acrobatic circus at the Roundhouse in Camden. Like nothing I've seen before, we loved it. Go and see it if you have a chance….. no narrative, no deeper meaning, just a series of bizarre acrobatic stunts performed with a terrific energy and humour and lots of audience involvement.

A fabulous night. This shot is from close to the end, we pulled a thick plastic sheet over the entire audience and then they used air blowers to inflate it so we were encased in a plastic dome. The acrobats were on the outside sliding up and down the dome. Then they opened a flap and connected this tube - the acrobat lowered himself down as air was blown up to inflate the the tube. Earlier a plastic pool had descended above our heads and dancers swam in it centimetres above us… a runner swung through the air and burst through walls of paper, and so much more.
