It was a wild night, what a storm! I spent most of the night listening and worrying, but this morning, amazingly, our polytunnel stood unscathed and there was no significant damage to buildings or anything in the garden.

Through the day the wind has slowly eased. But at Toe Head beach this afternoon the sea was still wild and roaring.
I spent a happy couple of hours there trying out different things and watching the waves and came away feeling quite restored to myself.
