snow on high ground

The forecast was good for today - i.e. not expected to rain much - and I fancied a change of scene so I took myself for a drive up into Kerry for some mountain scenery.

It was breathtaking as always, and all the better for seeing the mountains clothed with snow and draped with cloaks of shifting cloud while lower down the sun shone warmly.

I wanted to explore much more but ran out of daylight.
