Storms and floods

Most of the country seemed to suffer storms and floods today, and certainly we had very high winds all night - my lack of sleep is testimony to that! The morning was pretty foul, but mid - late afternoon, there was a short threat that the rain might ease off, so I dived out in the Defender, good job too as many of the roads round us were flooded. The rain didn't ease for long, for by the time I found this flooded field, the rain had set in again. I continued to explore, but the wind got back up and the rain was horizontal. So I headed back home for a cuppa!
