Towards Ravenstonedale

A decent day's weather today, and I had the pleasure of a visit from Carole, one of our lovely guests who dropped in on-route from visiting family in Scotland and travelling back to the south east. We took the opportunity to nip out for a pretty cold hour and grab a few pictures before retiring to the local for a well-earned pub lunch.

The view towards Ravenstonedale just avoids the M6 and Tebay services, which I managed to keep out of shot! Contrast between the land and sky was ridiculously high, calling for a 0.75 (2 1/2 stop) ND grad filter.
