Big day at the beach

The positive about the arguably cold weather in Dubai is that you can go to the beach in the middle of the day without the intense heat being a bother.

Today Nanny and Pop took Bailee and Oscar down to the beach. Oscar built a sandcastle with Pop and Bailee went for a swim with nanny before I came down. We all stayed at least another two hours and it was blissful. Bailee became very cheerful after Pop made her a sandcastle of her own. They then found some little friends on the beach and made a city. Oscar was fascinated with the sand city and they played until he was so exhausted he didn't want to walk!

For the first time in Dubai I got a little burnt. I am not used to laying in one position for so long and am now paying the price :-(
