The tame meerkat and fun adventures!

What a day! We've arrived at our first destination but not without challenges. Our new suitcase, the one that replaced the damage case arrived smashed! We then went to Europcar to collect the hire car only to be told that the car was not available until tomorrow! But they had a plan for us, they were putting us into a chauffeur transfer car and tomorrow if the car arrives they will deliver our hire car to us at our lodge. And for the third issue, I discovered I had lost my purse.....it has been located, it's in Jo'burg at the hotel we stayed at last night, they are keeping it safe for me until we go back to Jo'burg,! The people at the lodge have said that the hire car may not make it to us but we will come up with a plan, (seems normal to them that this has happened) for our transfer to the next lodge....so we will see what happens but in the meantime, I have taken so many photos already....please meet 'toffee' the tame resident Meerkat who also enjoys strokes, cuddles and milk! A stunning sun set, huge bugs and wonderful food finishes my day! Tomorrow early start for a game drive. The lodge is stunning - happy girl (and they have wifi but only in one seat in the main lodge which is funny!) Xxx
