Nanny And Oliver

My Mum came up and spent Christmas with us this year. It was the first time in a very long time that she hasn't had a family tie that prevented such things. For the last 20+ years my paternal grandmother used to come and stay with my parents over Christmas. She passed away in October, so that gave my Mum a bit of freedom to come and go as she pleased.

Oliver was very pleased to have Nanny here, and she was challenged to many Scalextric races (under his rules). We all ate too much.

Mum gave me a light meter for Christmas. I am hoping / expecting to do a bit more studio work with my photography. So this picture is a result of playing with the light meter and my flash
