Spring is coming?

Not very exciting this, but a bit stuck for ideas today. These are the first showings of narcissus bulbs, indicating the next season is being anticipated already.
It always amazes me how plants "know" the seasons - a great source of wonder.
Nevertheless I do not think we have yet had the worst that winter will throw at us, despite all the storms and high winds recently, with yet another forecast to arrive on New Year's Day.
