Candle-snuff fungus

A while ago I bought some fungal spores to grow my own mushrooms. I got shitake, lions mane and oyster mushrooms. I had to get some dead logs and drill holes in them put in the fungus which were on dowels of wood and seal them with wax. This took ages. I then had to leave them for ages in a pile. This was about 3 years ago. This is the result- candle-snuff fungus. It is inedible. Sometimes it is called stags horn fungus. I have given up all hope of edible mushrooms.
