Old Money
I found this at the bottom of a drawer in the kitchen when I was having a clear-out; for those of you of 'a certain age' it may be familiar, being a conversion chart to help with the change from the old pounds, shillings and pence to the new decimal currency which came into force on 15th February 1971. There were lots of them around at the time, but this one is a little bit different as it shows either £sd or £p depending on the angle you look at it. It was a fairly common worry at the time that the currency change would lead to inflation and higher prices, but I think subsequent history has shown that you don't need to change your currency for that to happen!
