Grey Greymouth

Lots of driving today. Headed down from Motueka to Greymouth on our way to the glaciers. Stopped off for a couple of photo opps on the way but they are on the other camera for the time being. Stopped off for some groceries in Greymouth as both the guidebooks say this is the last proper supermarket until Wanaka, which is over 400km away.
We stayed at Jackson's Retreat which, as you can see is in the hills. It was our first proper experience of sand flies, they were everywhere. Not much fun. So, an early night doused in insect repellent was in order.
