Playground games...

After successfully defeating one of my nephews in most games this afternoon - including nerf war, the card game 'cheat' and generally play fighting most of the time my eye was caught by these little gems. When I was a wee lad the game marbles was huge. It almost brought our school to it's knees as kids missed lessons and tensions rose as the game swept the place. I had a huge pencil case full of cats eyes, migs, 64's, spirals and noughters. Two compete on a dirty drain cover to knock the marbles into the openings. A sensible contest ended with a shake of hands - but most with a huge bundle as losing one's precious gems became too much to bear.
