New Table

In all its glory :-)

I'm deliriously happy with it, as well as the little side table that matches. It seems to make sitting in the living room that bit more exciting somehow! I'm planning a trip to Zara Home this week to find some little bits to go on/in it.

It was a beautiful day today, blue sky and even a large frost this morning. The storms this week helped to take down the little picket fence I had been trying to get rid of, so I was determined to try and finish the job. But alas, I am a girl, and really only just about managed to extricate it from the ground by brute force, and hands carefully protected by my dad's gardening gloves ;-) It was sod's law, as once out, the bloody thing was too large to fit in my car, so I managed to collect up all the small pieces, and took them to the dump. Very satisfying. There's still the large pieces to go, but I'm thinking I could maybe hack them up tomorrow with a saw. We shall see...

Bit of a boring day apart from that- you can have too much time to sit around! I actually do have quite a few things to do with the week that's left, so I really must plan my time a bit better.

I've also forgotten to mention I've been in agony today with some sort of trapped nerve in my neck. Weirdly my neck feels fine, but my arm, shoulder blade and ribs do not! It hurts to breathe in. I am hoping it will be gone tomorrow- I have no idea how to get rid of it?
