Hellebores

It's been raining and blowing a gale out there but for a brief period this afternoon we had the most glorious sunshine which prompted me to look for a suitable outdoor blip. These lovely hellebores must be one of my Top Ten favourites mainly because they require little or no attention, they come up year after year and provide interest all year round. I love the fresh lime green leaves with the serrated edges and even though I've bought dozens of different varieties they all tend to revert to the pink you can see here.
