Macau Tower

Had a lovely impromptu day out in Macau with friends Ev, Chris & Addie and their visiting friends from Canada.

Decided first thing in the morning to join them and have dinner at the famous Fernando's Restaurant. The meal was delicious and the company fabulous. So happy we decided to get away for the day. The city was decorated beautifully for this festive season and I have taken A LOT of photos today, but decided on this one.

This is the Macau Tower which offers 360 degree views of Macau and a place where you can bungee jump off of. We've watched madpeople do that while we've had a meal up at the revolving restaurant there.

Macau is a one hour ferry ride away from HK and its architecture is sooo different and European. It was a Portuguese colony and there are signs in Portuguese and English (and Chinese I think!).

Tomorrow's new year's eve! Goodness .... hope you'll all have fun things planned. Where has this year gone, I'm asking?
