'Come feed the litle birds,show them you care'

These are probably the smallest birds that we have visiting the garden regularly although we have had one brief visit from a goldcrest a few years ago.
I like the way they come down in noisy groups, feed and then fly off one at a time.

It's been a bit gloomy today but not very windy and just a few showers. Mike managed to get the new weather station up and running, this one tells us the wind direction too.

Just watching Mary Poppins probably seen it a hundred times but still enjoy it. This song seemed right for today. I remember feeding the pigeons in Trafalgar Square but that was before health and safety and the falcons stepped in.
