I'm back!

After a six month blip absence, I finally resolved to dust off the camera and make better use of my spare time. It may not be a daily occurrence but I'll strive to make it so.

Have witnessed some pretty moist Lakeland weather over the years, but today tops all of those. Five exceptionally soggy hours on the fells and only one damp boot from the 8 that set out! A fairly lengthy trudge up towards Bowfell sparked a feeling which is unique to a day in the mountains - there's nowt quite like it.

Currently basking in the glow after a couple of fine ales at the Woolpack in Boot.

An evening of fodder, maybe another ale and some form of light entertainment…
