A welcome sight

Another grey windy day.

This year the Christmas holidays have not disrupted our refuse collection schedule. When I met the men in the village this morning, I commented that they were a welcome sight. One of them told me that not everyone had welcomed them. The people who had overflowing bins were not happy. Any rubbish outside the bin cannot be taken on their van. I was glad that our bin was full, but had closed after a bit of ramming and shoving!

I'm glad to say that Mum is improving and I think I might be too. Thanks for all your good wishes over the last couple of weeks.
