Family Day Out

Today was an agreed "family day" and Martin and I had negotiated a 10.00am dog walk in what counts as hills near here, with a rewarding hot chocolate at the Gog Magog Cafe at the end.

However, I woke this morning to sheeting sleet/rain at 9.00am and felt that Plan A was never going to be a rewarding family experience.

We therefore went for Plan B - bowling.

This picture of Martin, adjusted with effects in photoshop is meant to convey the state of my brain at this loud and noisy venue. Nevertheless we all had a good time - the boys beat us hands down, and a Burger King on the way home meant we dodged all the terrible weather very nicely.
