They're alive!!

I was beginning to wonder if the buds might just drop off under the weight of their own nothingness.

I bought the bunch on Christmas Eve from my local, so sure that they'd burst forth over night in the warm house, just in time for Christmas Day .... but nothing! Nowt but buds for days!!

They've exploded while I was away today. Upon returning home, I was smacked in the face with a ferocious whiff!

The aroma's EVERYWHERE. Even the "bubble n squeak" tasted of lilies tonight!
