Pipe Bridge at Sawley

Chippy steers while clickychick takes a shot.

This pipe bridge was soon after we joined the River Trent at Derwent Mouth. The design is more unusual than many of the simple pipe bridges we passed.

Although having just joined the Trent the shot clearly shows the difference in width between the canal and the river,even in its early stages.
