Dartmoor Ponies

The temperature is certainly dropping this evening but at least dry for a while.

Since the Drift back in September/October I have seen very few large groups of ponies for a while but after our walk this morning we took a drive down the Challacombe valley and came across this bunch of 11 or 12 ponies, looking very wet but otherwise quite fit. Lets hope the winter is kind to them.

At the moment we are off home tomorrow to get ready for daughters No2 return from New Zealand. No3 daughter and I will be driving up to Heathrow to collect her on Friday morning. With the time and date difference she will soon be leaving to fly home.
