Bb finished the paper chase this morning with a visit to the police station to hand in all the papers necessary for the official 'declaracion' on his bank card bring cloned in London.

Then we met in our local market for a bit of food shopping - we so appreciate being able to shop like this - chatting to the people in the market as we buy and having the liberty to buy either just one cucumber or a kilo. We feel we know our 'jamon lady' our 'olives lady' and our 'eggs man'. We're now having a celebratory glass of cava in the more commercial shopping centre just up the road, before welcoming Philippa from Cardedeu, who will stay the night with us and bring in the new year with us on a Plaza Espanya. It will be packed, but promises to be a spectacle with fireworks, fountains and other unrevealed surprises.
