Happy New Year!

Firstly, Happy New Year to all blipper friends, especially my subscribers!

Bb and I brought in the new year with our good friend of many years now, miralgato, in Plaza España and then back at our house for hot mince pies, nibbles, cava and chatting. Miralgato stayed over. She's always got a bed at ours in Bcn - she lives out in the sticks, about 30 mins by train ;-)

It was a slow late start to today (and to the year!) but Bb and I got out and meandered into the centre and into the trendy barrio of El Born, where we had a few tapas of delicious fresh fish in one of our favourite little restaurants there, run by a lovely Argentinian lady. We call it 'Rachel's Restaurant' as we were introduced to it by our friend Rachel from Budapest. On the way, I took my blip of Casa Batlló, one of Gaudi's most famous buildings on Passeig de Gracia.

Back home now and bed beckons!
