Old World, New Year

A fan of old-world shopkeepers, I felt compelled to finish my year with a visit to Glenn’s Barbershop in Southwest Minneapolis. And it does not get any more old-world authentic than this. The frosty windows, the mounted fish on the walls, hundreds of yesteryear gadgets in hand made bookcases and the smiling face of Glenn.

When people say “shop small and local,” this is what they mean.
