New Year's Day Early Trot

Day 1 of 365. I've decided to start a 365 project this year, having completed one a couple of years ago. The last time I did one I found it fascinating, insightful, sometimes stressful, sometimes a pain in the backside (especially when it got to nearly midnight and I hadn't taken an image) but also a real challenge worth sticking with (it wouldn't have been worth it if it was easy). I also managed to capture quite a few images I'm really proud of that I would never have taken without the project and having my camera with me everywhere I went. Just to wish everyone else who is starting today good luck and stick with it - even during the days without inspiration, or when pressed for time or feeling down it IS so worth it in the end.
Anyway, today's photo is of my brother sorting out his shoelaces on the driveway before we both embarked on a New Year's Day trot - slowly and slightly woolly headed but all the better for it (along with the help of a can of Red Bull!).
