Resolutions

1. Coax, nurture, nag, tutor and drag the girl screaming through her GCSEs and into 6th Form College.

2. Play the piano every day.

3. Coax, nurture, support, nag, and keep fingers crossed that the boy gets through his A Levels and onto the Uni course he wants.

4. Turn myself into an Elle Macpherson lookalike.


All perfectly achievable I think.


We have been stuffing our faces with a roast lamb dinner in Wakefield. We also drank wine and got the boy to drive home - I knew there was a reason I had kids.
