First Foot

After a 12 hour party shift which started at 6.30 pm I was rather tired to say the least.
Our First Foot was really a "selfie" 'cos we had to come in first to let our first footers in. Unfortunately, these days we no longer have tall, dark and handsome friends because the colour grey is more obvious if there is even much hair!
However, this afternoon I noticed this Blackie sitting quite contented on the cotoneaster bush looking up at the Christmas tree. He was the darkest animal in our vicinity today. He had no coal or black bun so I didn't invite him in.
I wonder if he was hoping the singsong was about to commence again!
