Jetsam/Flotsam

Just started next book for book group. "A tale for the time being." Near the beginning there is a big description about jetsam and flotsam so I immediately wondered about all this debris washed up at Troon beach. Mind you it is mostly plastic bottles. Had I been by myself I would have gone onto the beach to have a closer look!
The wee pig must have been dropped by some child. He didn't look as if he had been washed up onto the prom.
