View from my window..

...in Fawsley Hall this morning.

A very dark, wet, windy New Year's Day! The head wasn't too bad this morning - even with a very late night. I think it was gone 3.30 when we all called it quits!
We'd opted to have brunch instead of breakfast so we could go for a swim and hot spa. The spa is outside and involved a short dash in our swimsuits! It was raining and it felt almost like sleet but once in the water it was wonderful.
We stayed in the water until we were like prunes then went in the sauna before getting showered and dressed.
We drank Buck's Fizz with our lunch and it was a lovely way to start the new year.

It feels strange to not be the weekend! :-)
