Happy New Year!

This year will be our 25th year living in the USA. As we don't seem to have "assimilated" much so far, I thought we might give some american things a go this year ;) To kick off the year, here we are seeing in the new year with friends, while watching the punctuation nightmare that isDick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. (Can anyone tell me why it's still called that even though DC is no longer with us?). We got to watch lots of bands we'd never heard of, some with interesting beards, some who looked like they were still in middle school, the ambiguously named Big Sean, and a twerk-free Miley Cyrus. For the old folks they got Deborah Harry out of mothballs. All in all a nice american style New Years Eve spent with good friends. Happy 2014 everyone!
