Push, push, glide.
Today we went to Selfridges ice rink for a spin.
This photo does not do the visit justice (The lights, colours, music and general setup were great, a very festive treat indeed) It's the best of the bunch though, not surprisingly as I was trying to balance on skates while holding the camera - I'm not great at that!
There were some bright orange things shaped like seals called skate aids which the kids could either hang on to to skate about or sit on and be pushed round! They loved them but I was ecstatic with these zimmer frame type inventions, not once was my coxis bruised or the sides of the rink clung too!
The golden M followed for lunch then an afternoon nap for me back home while Mr B and the chidlers baked me a cake for the annual celebrations tomorrow.
Very Lucky me!
Miss Bs comment at the end of the day;
"Well that was a great start of a New Year!"
