searching for fall

today i went in search of fall. i have this overwhelming sense that fall will pass me by and i will somehow not have experienced it to the fullest. part of this is due to the fact that i don't have a car and consequently cannot go all the places i want to on my own accord. its frustrating.

anyway, i had a day off today so i wandered to jamaica plain, and went to the arboretum. it was calming and wonderful. i walked around and laid under a tree and read. very pleasant.

however, the trees are not in full bloom yet. i shall return every week until i see it in all its glory. i will.

i want to consume fall. i think its an idol.
