New Year's Eve
Didn't manage to get the lunch shift off work so couldn't get a train until quarter to 5. Bit of a crazy rush but luckily my friends only live a 20 minute walk from Euston Station. Got the tube from Caledonian Road to Leicester Square before walking to Westminster for the fireworks.
Hours to stand round and chat, great to see everyone :)
New Year's Eve; a night for reflection and self-evaluation. Not really a fan of either, much rather get drunk and forget about it all...
2013 - a year of extreme highs and extreme lows. Its safe to say I won't be sad to see the back of it. The year started so well, some really awesome things have happened, I have met some wonderful people and I will take away some brilliant memories. Yet there were some truly awful days, alot of tears and sadness and some really bad things have happened. From my own point of view, I have been tested in ways I never thought I would be and learnt so much about myself. I have learnt that I am stronger that I thought I was and I know I have some incredible people in my life and I would not have got through the last 6 months and 3 days without them. I am so very grateful. In terms of others, I have learnt to take nothing for granted, make the most of every opportunity and make sure the people who are important to you know how much they mean to you incase you never get the chance to say it again.
Be yourself, respect that person and just generally be awesome because alot of people will see that in you even when you don't see it in yourself.
Bring on 2014! I cannot wait!
