Back to Work Blues

I drove to work this morning in pitch-darkness, my first full day back at work since the Christmas break.

Alanis Morissette's "Ironic" started playing on Gem 106 and pretty much summed up my mood at returning to "normality" after a Christmas break that has been really rather wonderful.

I've worked at my current job for 18 months and this card has hung on the wall above my boss' desk all that time and caught my eye several times.

It's rather apt for today although I have no plans to leave. I'm already looking forward to the weekend!
