Told you it was wet!

It rained well into the night but today we have the promised sunshine! I had to drive to the nearby village, checking the stream from yesterday's blip which had gone down a little but came across flooded fields just a little bit further on. Roads are closed as they impassable and there is a whole load of clearing up to be done.
We seem to have escaped the worst once again and for that I am most grateful.
