Back on the Canal

Today was the last day of the family Christmas season. Most of the family arrived for brunch. I was busy, having made fresh rolls first thing and then cooking with #1 son. Afterwards, feeling the need for a blip and a request from Lucas to take him to feed the ducks, see the canal boats and then go on to the climbing frames dictated the place for the blip. I like this spot and the little green boat you see is called Nola's Ark - the name of the woman who lives in the house just behind it. The wind was up and, after threatening rain, we got a bit of winter sunshine in the later afternoon. Reflections were not so good as yesterday because of the wind. We couldn't stay long for we both got very cold.
