A bit chilly but ...

... these two didn't seem bothered at all.

Some nice evening light so I had a little look about and a short walk around Padfield and these two were at the junction of Padfield Main road and Woodhead Road.

Dad just mentioned Scrabble so we had a game and he won.

He did get all the good letters and suspiciously the Q never appeared. I didn't realise this until I had started to clear up and had put some letters back in the bag. I tipped them all out again and the Q was there so either the Q was still in the bag and never got used or was it on the board as an O - something went wrong. I would have got the Q if it was in the bag as I needed 4 letters and only got 3, it could have made all the difference - I'm sure I would have won as I also had the Z.

It was all a bit like an episode of Steptoe and Son when the old man always wins.
