Happy Birthday!

Today is my 40th birthday and the first day of my 365 journal!

I've been feeling quite apprehensive about this revolting birthday but have had a great day. I'm having a lovely skiing holiday with my family and felt so lucky to spend today skiing around on top of the world. I did a couple of ski jumps onto a big air bag with my teenage niece which was excellent fun.

I mostly take photos of people so this is an unusual choice for me. The mountains are breathtakingly beautiful and expansive, very humbling. This iphone photo quickly snapped so i didn't get left behind by my speedy daughter and husband, makes me feel the opposite of how I was feeling about being 40. Limitless horizons!
