" The Green Green Grass of Home "
This is the view of Stogumber Station taken from the top of the field accessed from a walk opposite my house. If you look closely buried beside the house next to the station, is the main road into the village. Now you can see why its a secret village. You have to know about it or want to go to Stogumber.
Matthew and I managed to get out for a walk this afternoon before the weather closed in again. Phoebe was glad to get out and had a wonderful time, finding some soft red mud like sand, and once I showed her that you could dig in it, she played Meerkat and revelled in digging and jumping. You can imagine what she looked like on our return. Half white and half red!!
Otherwise it's been a day of catch up. Managed to vacuum the entire house and do some washing. Although my ear is still blocked and I'm quite deaf that side, the pain has been less. Matthew helped on the walk as my balance is not good.
I hope you've all had a good day. We have heard of the floods further down the valley so wont be trying to get to Minehead tomorrow to do some shopping. The high tides are causing misery to so many and hope you are all safe.
Thankyou for dropping in and leaving your comments. I always like to hear what you have to say so please, dont be shy, I dont really 'bite'!
Stay healthy my friends and one day we'll have to get together, but until then, keep safe:)) xx
