As mad as a bag of badgers

It's the 2nd. And there are guys out windsurfing in the bay at Brae in Shetland. Mind you, not for long. This is Allan - or Mad Allan as he's known to his friends. He had to come in to shore for a wee while to thaw out his fingers as they were beginning to go black with the cold. And no wonder. It was relatively warm out of the water - 8 or 9 degrees C, but the water was about 3 or 4 degrees or so.

Anyway, much respect is due to Allan and also Graham who are officially the first active Brae windsurfers of 2014!

More storms forecast tonight. I think they are overdoing it a bit...
