Spending 6-8 hrs at a time at a table with 9 people (sharks!) who will basically do anything to get your money is gruelling. If you lapse concentration for a minute you are punished. Lack of sleep and food, too much caffeine / alcohol / red bull is taking its toll!
I don't regard myself as much of a gambler but, the financial swings in cash games are a total roller coaster.
When your down big, getting to zero is fantastic - when your up big and you go back down your crushed.
I can't remember that much about the session, the intensity of it all is incredible. Its a mixture of total exhaustion and exhilaration.When croissants arrived at around 5:30 am, I'd managed to turnaround my heavy losses back into a healthy profit, thanks to the temp loan from Cic.
I pay him back, and got a few euros in my pocket too.
Unfortunately Cic and Leo take big hits this time and I'm the only one up.
